Irshadiyya Women’s College was founded in 2022 in Kodesseri, Karaya, by the Kodesseri Irshadul Umma Sangham, the mahallu organisation of Kodesseri, with a vision to provide Muslim women with access to both Islamic and modern education. From the outset, the institution came under the supervision of the Council of Samastha Women’s College (CSWC) of the Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidhyabhyasa Board, ensuring high standards in both religious and academic instruction.

The college began with a five-year program consisting of the Fadhila and Fadheela courses, offering students the opportunity to gain religious scholarship alongside recognized academic qualifications. Within a short time, it has earned the trust of the community as a safe and inspiring place for women to learn, grow, and lead.
